Thursday

On May 31 after 12 days confinement to bed rest in the hospital at Wendling, Kenneth Cline writes home that there is some decrease in swelling. He is worried that he won’t be allowed to return home with the rest of his unit. His flight crew left four days ago. The base at Wendling is rapidly winding down.

  2. It must be getting strangely odd there, not how it was over the previous year. Hope he gets home soon.
