Received two letters from Aileen and a box containing cheese, small piece of fruit cake, and Aileen’s camera.¹ Ate some cheese tonight and it sure was good. Nothing doing today, but loafed around camp. Recovering a little from the pass. Had two shillings left over from pay. New order out that makes everyone stay here three months after finishing. Not worried about it because we have a long way to go yet.
